About us

Dr. Awaz Yaseen grew up in Dalton, Georgia where she attended Dalton State College to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2018. She began her career in dentistry in her hometown as an orthodontic assistant and soon attended The Dental College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2024.

During her dental education, she worked diligently to bridge the gap between poverty and oral healthcare, as she used her role as president of the Give a Smile program to organize fundraising events to fund and identify the dental college’s patients who were most in need of financial assistance. She hopes to continue her heart for service throughout her career. At The Dental College of Georgia, she was awarded the 2024 Academy of Osseointegration Outstanding Dental Student in Implant Dentistry Award and the 2024 Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics Excellence in Prosthodontics Award. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association.
