Dr. Banafsheh Motazedi is a specialty care physician board certified in internal medicine as well as endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. She joined Inova in 2025 and has been practicing since 2016.Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Motazedi was an endocrinologist at Sentara Rockingham Memorial Health Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA.Dr. Motazedi specializes in treating patients with general endocrine disorders. Her primary areas of interest are type 1 and type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, and calcium and thyroid disorders. She values doctor-patient relationships, strongly believes in shared decision making and is dedicated to providing evidence-based care to help her patients achieve best possible health outcomes.
