Dr. Brian Orcutt was born and raised in Sacramento and attended San Juan High School. He then received his Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from California State University, Sacramento. Dr. Orcutt then received dental training at Indiana University, School of Dentistry and graduated in 2004. Since then, Dr. Orcutt has been practicing dentistry in Sacramento, California, and started his practice in 2006 in Carmichael, CA. In 2009, Dr. Orcutt finished his implant continuum and received a fellowship from the International Dental Implant Association. In 2009 and 2011, Dr. Orcutt attended Master-level training courses for the Biolase Waterlase MD dental laser therapy. In 2009, Dr. Orcutt received sedation training from the Dental Organization of Oral Conscious Sedation (DOCS) and Master-level training in 2020 and 2022. In 2006, Dr. Orcutt became certified by Invisalign to become a provider. Dr. Orcutt has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education courses from Invisalign. In 2015, Dr. Orcutt entered an Invisalign contest with dentists and orthodontists from 3 continents (North, Central, and South America). Dr. Orcutt was a semi-finalist, and his case was published in the Invisalign Gallery. In 2021, Dr. Orcutt became a VIVOS provider, which entails intense training to learn how to treat patients suffering from sleep apnea. In 2023, Dr. Orcutt received training in temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders from Digital Occlusion Seminars. In 2022, Dr. Orcutt received training and was certified to provide Myoaligners to help treat TMJ and was the first in the Sacramento area to receive that certification. In 2013, Dr. Orcutt received training from Dentsply Sirona to become a CEREC same-day crown provider. Dr. Orcutt is currently a member of the American Dental Association, The California Dental Association, The Sacramento District Dental Society, The Academy of General Dentistry, VIVOS, and The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
