About us
Dr. Cary Schwartzbach is a specialty care physician board certified in orthopedic surgery with Inova Sports Medicine and he serves as the Orthopedic Trauma Section Chief at Inova Trauma Center. He has a special interest in the management of orthopedic injuries, especially shoulder, elbow and knee.
Dr. Schwartzbach initially became interested in orthopedics because of his many injury visits as an active youngster. This interest became a passion, first in college doing orthopedic research and then in medical school taking care of patients with musculoskeletal ailments. His goal is to help his patients recover from their injuries, not just physically but emotionally as well.
