About us
Dr. Chad Stouffer, a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon, joined Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgical Associates in Jacksonville, Florida in 2024 after nearly 15 years of experience. He specializes in the treatment of valvular heart disease and played a key role in launching Structural Heart Programs in Knoxville, Tennessee in 2012 and Savannah, Georgia in 2015. From 2022 to 2024, he served as Medical Director of the Cardiovascular Service Line at Memorial Savannah. Dr. Stouffer has performed more than 3,000 open-heart surgeries and is experienced in complex aortic surgery, coronary revascularization, heart valve surgeries, catheter-based procedures (TAVR, Mitraclip), and lung resections.
