About us
Dr. Kush Patel is a specialty care physician board certified in internal medicine and sports medicine at Inova Sports Medicine. He joined Inova Health System in 2023 and has been practicing since 2013. He enjoys working with athletes of all skill levels from adolescents to adults.
Dr. Patel’s clinical areas of interest include the specialization in the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound to aid injury diagnosis and for injection treatments including corticosteroid, Visco supplementation and platelet rich plasma. He performs percutaneous ultrasonic tenotomy using Tenex.
Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Patel worked as a Sports Medicine Physician and Asst Prg Dir of the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at Sports Medicine of Central PA.
