About us
Dr. Leonard Zwerling is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Nuclear Cardiology. He is a graduate of Columbia College, received his Medical Degree at Boston University, and completed his Fellowship in Cardiology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Zwerling is a member of the Board of Directors of South Miami Hospital where he has been President of the Medical Staff, Chief of Medicine, and Chief of Cardiology. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Florida International University. He specializes in diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment with a special emphasis on the effects of emotional stress on the cardiovascular system.
