EMSculpt NEO utilizes the same electromagnetic energy as the Classic EMSculpt. However, it now integrates Radiofrequency (RF) energy to effectively burn through fat using heat. This non-surgical treatment not only builds muscle mass but also targets fat cells. The induced heat causes the fat layers to break down, and once your metabolic system engages, the results lead to permanent fat removal. In just a single 30-minute session, the contractions you experience are equivalent to performing 20,000 manual crunches or squats.
EMSCULPT is a non-invasive body conditioning procedure that employs high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) field technology to tone and strengthen core muscles. The core is a crucial collection of muscles that encompass the midsection and lower back. Maintaining the health and strength of these muscles is essential for an active and fulfilling life. However, with age, as with every muscle in our body, our core tends to lose strength, mobility, and appearance. To build a more robust and stronger core, EMSculpt NEO stands out, especially when you have more fat to lose and seek to redefine your body.
By breaking down stubborn fat, EMSculpt NEO enhances your muscle and core mass by 25% while sculpting and toning your physique. To explore more about this innovative treatment, schedule your no-obligation EMSculpt trial and discover how EMSculpt at Dr. Mantor's Wrinkle and Weight Solutions can help fortify your core!

The heat breaks down fat layers, and your metabolic system then works to permanently eliminate them. In just a single 30-minute session, the contractions mimic the effect of performing 20,000 manual crunches or squats.

Botox, a drug derived from a toxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum, operates by either weakening or paralyzing specific muscles or blocking nerves. Intriguingly, this is the very same toxin that, if ingested, could cause food poisoning—a point that marks the beginning of Botox’s fascinating journey.
The botulinum toxin was initially discovered in 1897 when a group of Belgian musicians fell ill after consuming the same smoked ham post-funeral performance. Following this alarming incident, the ham was dispatched for examination to Emile van Ermengem, a professor of bacteriology at the University of Ghent. Dr. van Ermengem first identified the bacteria, although it wasn't until World War II that US scientists isolated and purified it. Throughout the mid-20th century, further studies on the bacterium were conducted in the United States, and in 1965, D.B. Drachman demonstrated the toxin’s paralyzing effect during animal studies.
In the 1970s, Dr. Alan Scott, an American ophthalmologist, began exploring the toxin as a potential treatment for eye disorders. In 1978, he administered the paralytic to a patient for the first time, aiming to treat eye muscles following surgery for retinal detachment. The experiment was a success, setting the stage for other patients to receive similar treatments, including those suffering from strabismus, or eye misalignment. Dr. Scott’s pioneering work earned him the title “Father of Botox.”
The Development and Diversification of Botox.
News of Dr. Scott’s injections spread to physicians in other specialties, who began using the toxin for various issues like jaw-clenching and migraines. Interestingly, beyond addressing these medical conditions, the injections had an unexpected side effect: patients noticed that the fine lines around their eyes appeared smoother.
The FDA granted initial approval for Scott’s formulation, OnabotulinumtoxinA, for therapeutic use in 1989. Besides treating strabismus, it was also approved for blepharospasm, a condition where the eyes involuntarily close tightly. In 1991, Scott sold the drug's rights, and the new distributor, Allergan, rebranded it as Botox the following year.
Throughout the 1990s, Botox gained recognition as a powerful tool for helping individuals maintain a more youthful appearance. Physicians honed their skills in using it for cosmetic purposes, and by 2002, the FDA approved the drug for cosmetic applications, including treating frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines.
Today, Botox stands as the only neurotoxin with FDA approval for a variety of cosmetic applications. It remains in use for treating eye conditions, muscle contractions, chronic migraines, overactive bladder, and severe underarm sweating. Additionally, Botox can be employed to strategically relax facial muscles for wrinkle reduction, brow lifting, jawline slimming, and more. Recently, there’s even emerging evidence that it may help reduce anxiety.
