About us
Dr. Maria Tibbs Dr. Tibbs began her career in healthcare shortly after high school, when she joined the Army as an enlisted nurse. While serving in the Army, she tended to the wounded in a field hospital and developed her passion for patient care. After receiving an honorable discharge in 2010, she returned to her native state of Maryland and completed a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the Notre Dame University of Maryland, graduating with honors. Her desire to continue patient care led her to pursue a career in dentistry, and in 2016, she earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery form the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
