Dr. Michael A. Sumsion is a board-certified ophthalmologist based in Redding, California, serving patients at Riverside EyeCare Professionals. He earned his M.D. from the University of Utah School of Medicine, graduating in 1986.
With over 39 years of experience in ophthalmology, Dr. Sumsion has developed expertise in complex eye conditions including late-onset retinal degeneration, age-related macular degeneration (ARMD), Fuchs’ and corneal dystrophies, and advanced cataract surgery.
