About us

After graduating from medical school, Dr. Nancy Chen pursued a research fellowship at the Doheny Eye Institute/University of Southern California. She then completed a one-year Internal Medicine internship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, NY. After the internship, Dr. Chen continued her research fellowship at the Center for Sight at Georgetown School of Medicine in Washington, DC. Her post-graduate training continued with a three-year ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. She has received several awards during her training period.

Dr. Nancy Chen has been in practice for 21 years in Kapolei and has been nominated yearly as the best ophthalmologist since 2014. She is the owner and founder of Kapolei Eye Care. She is trained in the latest laser treatment to rejuvenate the eyes as an Ophthalmologist, allowing her patients to see better by decreasing or eliminating the need for glasses or contact lenses. As she treated her aging patients, they started to notice that their skin was aging as well. This motivated Dr. Chen to pursue and learn a new series of lasers to help rejuvenate the skin not only around the eyes but the entire face and body.
