As a neurologist, Dr. Peter Analytis, specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders that affect the brain, spinal cord, and nerves, including sleep disorders, stroke, headaches, seizures, speech and language disorders, infections of the brain and peripheral nervous systems, movement disorders such as Parkinson's disease, dementia disorders such as Alzheimer's, and multiple sclerosis. Dr Analytis specializes in Sleep Medicine and can order sleep study testing. These tests allow physicians to measure brain waves, oxygen levels, heart rate, breathing, eye movements, leg movements, airflow pressure, alertness during the daytime, quickness in falling asleep and other indicators that help identify a sleep disorder and its cause.
