QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise comes in four versions. Silver with basic inventory but no payroll for 1-30 unique users, Gold with basic inventory and DIY payroll for 3 EINs and lower per EE fees than regular payroll for 1-30 users, Platinum with with DIY payroll for 3 EINs and lower per EE fees than regular payroll as well as Advanced Inventory (multiple inventory sites, bin and lot tracking, serial number tracking, barcode scanning, and FIFO costing), PO/Bill Approvals) and Advanced Pricing for 1-30 users, and Diamond (Platinum with Assisted Payroll and per paycheck fees of $1.50 and time tracking including geofencing for $5.00 a month for 1-40 users.
All come with AES 256-bit encryption and automatic updates for the number of unique user(s) in the name (similar to QuickBooks Premier on Steroids) comes with the following:
• If you have used Pro or Premier or Accountant, the Home Page and 95% of the drop-down menus and choices are the same as. You probably won’t be able to tell the difference.
• Enterprise is a database driven program that allows you to add up to one million names (customers, suppliers, employees) and up to one million items (for example, inventory, non-inventory, and service items), 100,000 chart of accounts and other lists, a file size up to 2 GB more or less, and 1-30 unique users.
• Enterprise provides free U.S. based technical and Priority Circle product support including online training valued at $3,000 (those who are new to the software find this and the 30 videos useful).
• You get access to Open DataBase Connectivity or ODBC which can be used to import or export data using Excel.
• Get onsite backup for 100 GB for one computer but I recommend backing up your company file in single user mode within the program once a week as it verifies data.
• Choose Contractor, Manufacturing and Wholesaling, Professional Services, Retail, Nonprofit, or General Business as your industry edition and currently there is no additional charge for additional companies like Online.
• Assign units of measure, use purchase and sales orders, estimates, and progress invoicing, prevent negative inventory, use the collections center, turn on multicurrency, and integrate with third party programs.
• You can get a fully integrated no monthly fee merchant account if eligible with lower CC and ACH transaction fees than regular desktop or online.
• Has an optional e-commerce integration using Webgility (additional charge) for sales channels.
• You get a one user license valued at $420 a year of Field Service Management (FSM) Software for dispatching and scheduling. You can add licenses through me.
• Enjoy the ability to create custom reports and Advanced Reporting.
• You get the ability to create custom user permissions and roles:
Assign Access to 115 specific areas of the program
Restrict Access to View only, Create, or Modify including specific financial accounts.
Create roles and assign them to user (you can assign multiple roles)
• You get 30 custom fields to use with your customers, vendors, employees, and items including basic inventory items.
• Batch enter (invoices, credit memos, sales receipts, bills and bill credits, credit card charges and credits, expenses, checks, or deposits) and delete or void (invoices, bills, checks, or sales orders) transactions.
• Open up two company files at the same time and attach pictures to basic inventory or your items.
• Get access to accountant tools such as manage fixed assets and depreciation, fix incorrectly applied sales tax, vendor and customer payments, troubleshoot inventory, write off invoices, merge vendors, and reclassify transactions.
• You get multi company reporting so if you have multiple companies, you can see all that information in one report for up to four companies.
With QuickBooks Enterprise Silver, there is no payroll except manual payroll turned on with job costing. You can order Intuit Online Payroll which pays your taxes and forms and two versions include time tracking with or without geofencing through me which you can export to this version or an outside source.
If you want to use a Time Tracking program to only track time and export to a third-party system, prevent buddy punching, and track mileage, I can provide a link or order it for you. One version comes with geofencing.
