About us
Dr. Sarasi Jayaratne is a specialty care physician board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in endocrinology. She joined Inova in 2024 and has been practicing since 2022.Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Jayaratne was an endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism fellow at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond, VA. She completed her internal medicine residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA.Dr. Jayaratne’s clinical areas of interest include diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal gland diseases, pituitary disorders and metabolic bone disorders. She enjoys working with all patients and focuses on understanding a patient’s needs with respect and dignity.
