Dr. Shwetha Thukuntla MD

Dr. Shwetha Thukuntla is a specialty care physician board certified in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at Inova Endocrinology. She has a special interest in management of diabetes and pituitary disorders. She enjoys working with adults and the elderly population.

Dr. Thukuntla believes in building long-term relationships and working together to accomplish a desired goal. Her goal is to help her patients feel heard and achieve their goals.

Prior to Inova Health System, Dr. Thukuntla served as an Assistant Professor at University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston for five years.
