About us
Dr. Simon Chung is a specialty care physician board certified in urology at Inova Urology. He serves as the System Medical Director of Robotics for Inova Health System. He has a patient-centric approach, emphasizing patient education with plain language discussions and shared decision making.
Dr. Chung’s clinical areas of interest include urological cancers, stone disease, and minimally invasive and robotic surgeries. He was among the first surgeons worldwide, in 2004, to perform robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery and has accumulated a varied and extensive experience to safely treat cancers, anatomic abnormalities and traumatic injuries of the urinary system.
