About us
Dr. Stephanie Smith is a specialty care physician board certified in pediatrics and pediatric infectious diseases at Inova Children's Infectious Diseases. She received her medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in 2015 and completed her pediatric residency at Inova Health System, prior to completing her fellowship training at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH.
Dr. Smith’s clinical areas of interest include appropriate use of antibiotics (antimicrobial stewardship), fever of unknown origin, and bone and joint infections. She also has a particular interest in infections and their prevention in immune-compromised hosts.
