About us

Dr. Fitzpatrick is a 2001 graduate of Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego where he completed his Bachelor degree in Biology. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Loma Linda University in 2006. While at Loma Linda University he received recognition as one of the top clinicians in his program, as well as additional award recognition for treatment planning of dental implants.

Dr. Fitzpatrick has a passion to expand sustainable dental services to underserved communities both locally and globally. He formed Cura Coffee Company in 2013 to help fund the non-profit work of Cura Smiles. This non-profit has been able to build a dental clinic in the diverse community of City Heights, San Diego. This dental clinic provides free dental services to underserved individuals, many of which have had limited or no access to oral healthcare. The stories of lives changed by providing these services is inspiring and life-giving. Dr. Fitzpatrick has provided dental services on teams traveling to Mexico, Sri Lanka, and annual trips to Nicaragua for over a decade.
