About us
Dr. Veronica Nguyen is a specialty physician board certified in gastroenterology at Inova Health System. Dr. Nguyen received her medical training at Albany Medical College, Medstar Georgetown University and the University of Arizona and received advanced clinical training in transplant hepatology at Medstar Georgetown University. Dr. Nguyen’s areas of clinical interest include hepatocellular carcinoma, portal hypertension, cirrhosis and preventive liver care. She performs basic gastroenterological procedures such as endoscopy, variceal band ligation and colonoscopy. She enjoys working with patients who have chronic liver disease, and her patient care philosophy is to care for the patient in the context of the whole person.
