About us
Dr. William Muñoz received his B.A. from The George Washington University, in 2006. He graduated with his medical degree in 2011 from Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He completed his surgical internship and his orthopedic surgery residency at Rutgers – New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Muñoz then went on to complete his fellowship in spine surgery at the University of Virginia Medical Center. Dr. Muñoz has co-authored numerous manuscripts in peer-reviewed medical journals, including Annals of Surgery and The Spine Journal. One of his papers was selected as The Spine Journal 2012 Outstanding Paper in Basic Science.
