East Carolina Sailing School

East Carolina Sailing School is a former ASA Outstanding School of the Year and one of the best sailing schools on the east coast. East Carolina Sailing School will teach you how to sail confidently and safely in a variety of conditions and aboard different types of sailboats.

We offer classes at the BridgePointe Hotel & Marina in New Bern, NC. Our sailing grounds include the Neuse River, Pamlico Sound and the Atlantic Ocean. Destinations include Beaufort, Cape Lookout, Hatteras, Manteo, Morehead City, New Bern, Ocracoke, Oriental and Wilmington. Our courses are designed to be safe and fun as well as based on nationally recognized standards from both the American Sailing Association (ASA) and the United States Sailing Association (US Sailing). Our instructors are highly experience (USCG Captains) and have met the rigorous standards of either the ASA and/or US Sailing to become certified sailing instructors.
