Although there is a great need for places like Eastern Christian Childrens Retreat for our disabled, when visiting, I discovered that the Executive Director there, Jayne Press is the MOST callous, accusitory, vindictive, distrustful, unhappy person and it's time for her to be replaced. It is COMMON knowledge there that she terrorizes her OWN employees and they're all afraid of her. Mrs. Press covers up huge mistakes like neglect that are made at ECCR and will throw someone else under the bus to put herself in a better light. There are MANY caring and kind employees there, but Jayne Press is NOT one of them! Plus, on my 2nd visit there a month ago, to visit a relative, I was appalled to see a mentally challenged man in his early 30's standing by himself at the entrance. ALL alone, no RN or aid around and I had to escort him into the building. (I saw from a distance that she was around the corner having a cigarette.) Shocking. Makes you think twice. We're moving our relative. :(
