Edge Physical Therapy & Fitness is dedicated to providing exceptional care, time and attention to all of its patients and clients. At Edge, we utilize a comprehensive approach to treatment including modalities, manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises, in order to rehabilitate injuries quickly and effectively. Our therapists are NY State Licensed Physical Therapists, who regularly participate in continuing education courses to stay current with changes in the medical field. Edge is an all-inclusive facility, with a committed staff, to assist you with your needs. We provide customized physical therapy services, personal training, golf rehab and post-rehab fitness programs to help you meet your health and fitness goals. Included in our approach are various manual techniques, modalities and therapeutic exercises. We also offer customized personal training/fitness programs and golf rehabilitation. Joel Norman, DPT, CSCS, owner of Edge Physical Therapy & Fitness, is a New York State Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy. He has an extensive manual therapy background and is experienced in treating various sports, orthopedic and neurological conditions. Joel is also an adjunct professor at NYIT's physical therapy program and teaches courses in manual therapy and kinesiology. He is the only board-certified orthopedic physical therapist serving the Glen Cove, Little Neck and Douglaston townships. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Certified Golf Performance and Fitness Specialist. In addition, he is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and regularly attends continuing education courses at local hospitals to stay current with advancements in the medical/physical therapy field.
