About us

Edward P. Mahan, MPAS, PA-C, completed his undergraduate bachelor's degree and earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich. He has been practicing with the physicians of Piedmont Physicians Georgia Lung since 2002 and currently serves as Marietta's midlevel and has an interest in Sleep Medicine. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians Georgia Lung, Ed practiced at Metro Health Hospital in Grand Rapids, Mich. and worked in urgent care from 1998-2001. Before that, he served as a Junior Non Commissioned Officer in both Germany and in Saudi Arabia from 1988-1991 during the First Gulf War. Ed is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Georgia Academy of Physician Assistants. In his spare time, Ed enjoys scuba diving and spending time with his family.
