About us
Stephanie Opusunju, MD, or Dr. O, as she is fondly called by her patients, is an experienced family medicine provider at Elam Health and Wellness located in McKinney, Texas. Dr. Opusunju is a first-generation Nigerian-American. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, she relocated to Texas with her family in high school and considers herself a proud Texan. Dr. Opusunju is eager to see new and returning patients at the office in McKinney, Texas.
Dr. Opusunju obtained her Bachelors in biology from Texas Woman’s University and then completed a year of neuroscience research at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. It was during this time that Dr. Opusunju’s passion for medicine and patient care flourished.
