About us
My first ambition as a teen was to become a 'candy striper' with the intention of helping a hospital and nursing home near my New England hometown while completing my high school community service. After starting there, I quickly realized that this would turn into more then volunteering. Once I had finished over 500 hours, the hospital administrative board awarded me with the opportunity to take their nurses aide class for free! I then became a paid employee and worked several hours a week until nursing school. Once completing my four-year degree, I went onto finish my Master's degree to become a nurse practitioner, and now have almost completed my PhD in Integrative Medicine.
