Emerge is a private practice specializing in Occupational and Speech Therapies for infants, toddlers and children. Our mission is to enhance the lives of the children we serve and the families who love them by providing a fun, nurturing and supportive therapeutic environment. We are well known in the triangle community for our ability to address sensory processing, communication, motor coordination and social skills. Emerge is a primarily a private pay clinic. Because other locations frequently imposing a facility fee of $136-150 per session, Emerge is now often the most economical choice for families. We provide all the necessary paper work and receipts with appropriate codes for families to submit to insurance. We find that most families are reimbursed 60-80 % of the cost of therapy, although this does vary depending on the type of policy. Large corporations such as IBM or SAS often offer a separate funding source that will cover the therapy and educational needs of children with special needs. Your personnel director or a phone call to your insurance company can easily confirm your specific benefits. In the case of documented economic hardship, we may sometimes offer a small scholarship to cover a portion of the cost of therapy.
