Eric Perloff, MD

About us

Eric Perloff, MD is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in care of the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow. Dr. Perloff grew up in Colorado and received his undergraduate education at The University of Colorado in Boulder, where he earned degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He moved to upstate New York where he attended medical school at Albany Medical College. He graduated Cum Laude and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha society for his academic achievements. He then completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Albany Medical Center, a Level 1 trauma center. In his final year he served as chief resident. He completed The Hand and Upper Extremity fellowship at Brown University in Providence, RI. There he received extensive subspecialty training in the treatment of hand, wrist, elbow, and peripheral nerve surgery.Dr. Perloff's focus is to provide individualized care for his patients. He has special interest in treatment of trauma and degenerative conditions affecting the hand and wrist. He has published several peer reviewed manuscripts and authored several textbook chapters. His goal is help improve patients' quality of life with both operative and nonoperative treatments.
