About us
Dr. Sankey comes to Piedmont Athens Neurosurgery after completing his medical degree at Johns Hopkins University followed by neurosurgery residency and complex spine fellowship at Duke University Medical Center. He is board eligible in neurosurgery. Dr. Sankey treats a wide array of neurologic disorders, including degenerative spine disease, spinal deformity, brain and spinal trauma, and tumors of the nervous system. He has developed significant expertise in minimally invasive spine surgery during his fellowship.
