About us

My interest in medicine started in high school. I enjoyed all the natural sciences including zoology and biology. I also enjoyed understanding how things work in general including mechanical objects. I am most interested in preventive medicine. For me, this includes healthy eating choices and regular exercise. I think exercise should be seen as an enjoyable activity and take the form of play as much as possible. My philosophy of care is to encourage as much healthy behavior as possible to avoid medication and chronic medical issues. The best health insurance is good self-care. Outside of work, I like to play with my children and be outside as much as possible. Going for walks or hiking, kicking a soccer ball in the yard, doing art projects, or reading are all enjoyable. I also enjoy cooking with my wife.
