About us
Dr. Erin Ransom recently relocated to San Diego from the Washington DC area. She is originally from East Lyme, CT where she attended high school. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame and was a member of Sigma Tau Delta, the English honors society.
She then worked for four years as a teacher in New York City with Teach For America before returning home to attend the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine.
While at UConn, she received the Eleanor J. Bushnee Award for Women in Dentistry. After graduation, she furthered her education by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at UConn.
Dr. Ransom has worked in private practice in Southeastern CT and Arlington, Virginia before her family relocated to San Diego. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Clear Aligners. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the San Diego area with her husband and two young children.
