About us
Ernesto Ayala, M.D., is a hematologist and oncologist at Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Ayala treats cancers and conditions including acute lymphocytic leukemia, acute myelogenous leukemia, graft versus host disease, Hodgkin’s lymphoma and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. He is an expert in CAR-T cell therapy for the treatment of advanced lymphoma and bone marrow transplantation for treating conditions and cancers of the blood, plasma and bone marrow. Dr. Ayala has a special interest in the use of stem cell transplantation to treat severe autoimmune disorders such as scleroderma and multiple sclerosis. He speaks English and Spanish.
