Located near Durham and Chapel Hill, Escape On Purpose is a family-run escape room venue that offers immersive, narrative-driven games for groups of 3-10 players. Featuring creatively themed rooms like "Submarine Attack," "(T)Error in the Sky," "Starship Mission," and "The (Un)Common Room," participants tackle clever puzzles and complete missions within a timed 60-minute session. Co-founders Howard & Nancy Plemmons launched the business in 2018 with a mission: entertaining guests while giving back-guests select a local charity at booking, and a portion of proceeds supports causes like Wounded Warriors or Independent Animal Rescue.
