About us
Escondido Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Escondido, California, offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder symptoms. Adults age 18 and older of all genders can benefit from MAT for an addiction to heroin, prescription painkillers, and other opioids. Adults who begin MAT at Escondido CTC receive a prescription for buprenorphine, methadone, naltrexone, or Suboxone. These medications can help manage the physical and psychological symptoms of opioid withdrawal so that adults can remain focused on their treatment plan. An MAT care plan also may include individual and group therapy sessions to help promote lasting recovery.
