Ewurama Sackey, MD

Ewurama Sackey, MD, is a child, adult, and reproductive/perinatal psychiatrist and the Director of Women's Behavioral Health in PBHI who skilled at diagnostic and medication management. Her clinical interests include reproductive psychiatry, perinatal psychiatry, maternal-infant mental health, and child and adolescent psychiatry.

Dr. Sackey went to medical school at Perelman School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed her residency at University of Pennsylvania Health System/Penn Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Sackey did a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at University of California Los Angeles Semel Neuropsychiatric Institute in Los Angeles, California.

She is certified in both general and child and adolescent psychiatry and is affiliated with Postpartum Support International, American Psychiatric Association, and the American Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists.

She believes that patients are the most important member of the treatment team, and teams should collaborate with patients to help them achieve their personal goals. She sees patients ages 4 and older.
