About us
Fawad Khawaja, MD, FACS, a Jacksonville native, joined Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgical Associates, P.A., in October 2014. He is an alumni of Jacksonville University, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and board certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgeons.
After completing his Cardiothoracic Surgery training at the University of Tennessee, he joined University of Florida, Gainesville, for training in Aortic Aneurysm Surgery and Complex Cardiac Surgery. After completing his advanced training, he served as an Assistant Professor in division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at University of Florida.
Dr. Khawaja specializes in Coronary Artery Revascularization, Aortic Valve Replacement, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement, Mitral Valve Repair and Replacement, Ascending and Descending Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Dialysis Access Surgery, Carotid Artery Disease and Peripheral Vascular Surgery. He also specializes in the treatment of benign and malignant Lung Diseases.
