About us
Felipe Cadavid, MD, is a vascular and endovascular surgeon for UF Health Heart and Vascular Surgery at Halifax Health. After graduating summa cum laude with his bachelor's in biology from the University of Florida, Dr Cadavid attended medical school at Florida State University College of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine where he published research, received numerous awards for academic achievement and resident teaching, and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr Cadavid then completed his fellowship in vascular and endovascular surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Heersink School of Medicine.
