Nathan Maynard joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in April 2018. He previously worked for 4 years as a Client Care Representative at State Farm.

A graduate of Belhaven University with a master's degree in Business Administration, Nathan holds Series 7, 66, and 24 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in AL,CA,CO,FL,GA,IA,IL,IN,LA,MA,MD,NC,NJ,NV,OH,OR,SC,TN,TX,VA,WA, and WI.

Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Nathan serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Nathan will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals.

In his free time, Nathan enjoys, reading, spending time with family and tennis.

Active in his community, Nathan is a member of First Baptist Church in Opelika, Alabama.
