Classroom Seating Solutions (CSS - DBA FootFidget®) was founded in by two Physical Therapists –Robin Singer, PT and Kathy Spinabella, PT in 2010 in Fox River Grove, Illinois. The co-owners/inventors initally researched, designed, and patented the Standing Desk Converstion Kit and the Attachable FootFidget® to aide students in the classroom to improve focus, attention and expell excess energy. Functioning as the name suggests, the Conversion Kit allows schools to be eco-friendly by recycling the tops of their desks – replacing the existing short leg extensions with the patented longer leg extensions, at a competative price. The Attachable FootFidget® can be attached to an existing sitting desk. The Portable FootFidget®, with its own height adjustable frame, can be used at tables or for older students who change classrooms during their day. For the adult population, FootFidget® products were designed to provide ergonomic and health benefits in their specific areas-as their names suggest. The FootFidget® adult product line includes the Traveler FootFidget®-to offset health concerns with prolonged sitting in tight spaces such as Airplane travel, and College students in lecture halls (comes with its own travel bag). The Office FootFidget®-to improve health concerns with sedentary environment in the work place. The Pro FootFidget® Exerciser-Total Body Exerciser for Rehabilitation use by P.T.‘s and O.T.‘s. The FootFidget® is a “non-exercise activity” which can be used throughout the day to provide increased activity either sitting or standing, without fatigue, and is NEAT™-certified.
