Whether your dog needs a vaccine, or your horse needs a dental cleaning, we are happy to help! Our waiting room is always kept bright and clean to make your visits as comfortable as possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are top priorities for us. That’s why we take cleanliness so seriously. Our treatment area is always sterilized between patients, and the space is kept tidy so that your pet will not be overwhelmed. Rather than sending samples to outside labs, our in-house diagnostic lab gives our veterinary team the ability to produce and return test results quickly so that treatment plans can be devised sooner. Fourmile Veterinary Clinic is designed and fully equipped to treat horses. Not only do we treat dogs and cats, we also treat equine and large animals! We are one of the only veterinary facilities in the area that offers care to large animals, so we tend to have a lot of visitors from surrounding counties. Regardless, any patient who walks in our doors is promised high quality treatment!

Fourmile Veterinary Clinic has been providing high quality animal care to Cañon City's dogs, cats, horses, cows, and pigs for over 40 years. Founded in 1975 by Dr. Donald Ley, the clinic has since then been joined by our founder's son, Dr. Jeremy Ley! We are also a Cat Friendly Practices® certified hospital, and our services include wellness care, sick appointments, vaccinations, microchipping, allergy and dermatology testing, diagnostic care including an in-house laboratory, x-ray, and ultrasound, general and advanced surgical care including spay and neuter, pet dental, cattle PAP testing, and more! We are open five days a week and we look forward to meeting you and your pet.
