About us
Francisco Gomez, M.D., is a Neurologist at Rapid City Hospital. A Fellow of Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology at University of Alabama at Birmingham, Dr. Gomez was previously Chief Resident of Adult Neurology at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center and Texas A&M College of Medicine in Temple, where he previously completed both residency and an Internal Medicine internship. Dr. Gomez attained a Doctor of Medicine from Texas A&M University College of Medicine in Bryan, and a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the Department of Veterinary Integrative Bioscience/Veterinary Pathobiology at Texas A&M University, College Station, where he also graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences.
Dr. Gomez is a polyglot, fluent in English and Spanish, proficient in French and understands basic Italian, Japanese and German. In his spare time, he pursues glass fusing, design, and plate-making, basic wire wrapping, metal smithing and basic glass bead-making. He also travels to learn about other countries and experience their languages, culture, art and architecture.
