Franklin Goins Insurance Agency is a longstanding 3rd generation family-owned insurance business with a rich history that spans over seven decades. The agency was originally founded in 1949 by Franklin Goins, with a focus on providing fire insurance to farmers in the local community. This humble beginning marked the inception of a legacy that has continued to thrive and evolve. In the mid-60s, Edward Goins joined his father, Franklin Goins, in the insurance industry, laying the foundation for a successful career in the field. By 1970, Edward established his own insurance agency, Edward F. Goins, Jr., and Associates, and in 1972, the agency moved to its current location 600 East Main Street, Frankfort, KY.
