The smell of fresh flowers hits you the second you step inside of Fuji Aladdin’s Flowers on El Cajon Boulevard. The location has always been a flower shop ever since it opened in 1960, but the quality and service remain as great as ever. Martha Chavez, the general manager and flower artisan at Fuji Aladdin Flowers says that the store is a “one stop shop. We have everything from flowers to gifts to collectables. Fruit baskets, plants, and a little bit of everything here.” Colorful pedals shoot out of vases like frozen fireworks, ranging from exotic, tropical, or local. The fruit baskets are filled to the brim with apples, oranges, bananas, and coconuts and yet remain very affordable. The level of service is wonderful as well, with personalized arrangements and gifts made onsite to fit any customer’s wants or needs. “We treat every customer as if they are home,” says Chavez. “We do the best that we can to make everybody happy and to put a smile on their face.” Can’t make it out to...
