As a colorectal surgeon at City of Hope Phoenix (formerly Cancer Treatment Centers of America [CTCA]), Dr. Andrew Kassir performs complex colorectal procedures. He cares for patients with colorectal malignancies, ranging from the earliest to advanced stages. Dr. Kassir focuses on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancers of the large intestine through surgical treatment options.
Dedicated to using the most advanced treatment options, Dr. Kassir incorporates robotic and minimally invasive techniques, as well as new technology and interventions available in surgical oncology. "Using minimally invasive surgical technologies, I strive to reduce surgical complications and speed recovery, where possible," he notes.
