The Ganser Company, a Madison staple, exudes the comfort of a warm quilt on a chilly Wisconsin day. Established in 1939 by Ernest Ganser, a robust farmer from Lodi, Wisconsin, during the Great Depression, the company shifted from agriculture to building, applying the same dedication to roofing and siding in Madison and Dane County as Ernest did to his crops.

Over the years, like changing seasons, the company grew under the care of Ernest’s descendants: his son Hugh, grandson Dennis, great-grandsons Travis and Marc, and now a fifth generation. With each era, the Ganser Company introduced new methods to protect and adorn community homes, treating each project as a valued treasure, with the understanding that their true wealth lies in the trust they earn, akin to precious August rain.
