Dr. Hensley-Laird was born and raised in Clovis, New Mexico and traveled throughout his younger life as the son of an Airman. He earned his medical degree at LSU at Shreveport School of Medicine, where he also completed his internal medicine residency. He found his true Being present for his patients at some of the hardest times of their lives is Dr. Hensley-Laird's favorite aspect of serving as a palliative medicine doctor.
