About us
G. Edgar Anderson, Jr., M.D. earned his undergraduate degree from the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia. He went on to serve as a captain in the United States Air Force. Upon separation from military service, Dr. Anderson earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga with a specialty in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Anderson has over 20 years of private practice experience with special interests in minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, pelvic floor disorders and incontinence procedures. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In his spare time, Dr. Anderson enjoys flying, scuba diving, sailing and golf. Dr. Anderson welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
