The Chicago Organ Summit was developed in response to the June 2016 White House Organ Summit and former President Barack Obama's call to action for the nation to increase organ transplantation. The 2019 Chicago Organ Summit featured donor families and healthcare professionals sharing their stories and the benefits of organ and tissue donation.
