Glen Cove Child Day Care Center, Inc

Glen Cove Child Day Care Center, Inc., is a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to provide the mechanisms necessary for families to break the cycle of poverty and to provide high quality, comprehensive child development and family support services through the involvement of parents, communities and staff.

GCCDC was launched in 1965 and founded by Mr. James Davis. For over forty years no other early child development program has been as extensive and successful to meet the needs of the children, families, and community that we serve. Throughout the years, our program had been located in different areas in Glen Cove. In 1990, we finally moved to our newly built and current home, located on the south bound side of Route 107, Glen Cove, NY 11542. At the present time, we have enrolled in our program over 200 children from 6 weeks to 13 years old. The agency employs more than 40 certified and trained staff to assist in the delivery of quality services to the children and families in our community. However, our services cannot be fully maximized without the dedication and unique support of Parent and Community volunteers.
