Madhavagopal (Gopi) Cherukuri, MD, a board-certified cardiologist specializing in interventional cardiology, has practiced in the Valley since 2003. He provides comprehensive heart care, including prevention and management of conditions like heart failure, coronary artery disease and arrhythmias. With a special interest in sports cardiology, Dr. Cherukuri believes that "everyone is an athlete in one way or another.”

He offers a range of treatments, from office-based procedures like ultrasound imaging and stress testing to invasive techniques such as percutaneous coronary intervention, cardiac rhythm device insertion, fluoroscopy and transesophageal echocardiography.

Dr. Cherukuri takes a proactive approach to health, stressing early identification and intervention. He prioritizes prevention and believes in managing issues while they are small. A healthy diet, active lifestyle, and positive mindset are his keys to good health, reserving medicines and procedures as a last resort.
